QC Process & Rejection Rules

This policy explains how quality control (QC) is conducted and enforced. It defines inspection scope, rejection criteria, and handling principles. The goal is to ensure consistency, transparency, and predictable outcomes. All rules are applied uniformly to every order.

Scope of Quality Control

Standardized QC Coverage

Every timepiece undergoes a standardized QC process before shipment.

QC focuses on functional integrity, visual accuracy, and configuration correctness.

Inspection is performed prior to packaging and dispatch.

Products that fail QC do not enter the shipping stage.

Core QC Inspection Areas

Functional Verification

QC verifies basic operational functionality, including:

  • Timekeeping stability within normal tolerance
  • Crown operation and setting response
  • Date and complication function, if applicable

Only functional checks are performed.

No engineering-level testing or modification is involved.

Visual & Alignment Checks

Each watch is visually inspected for:

  • Dial printing clarity and alignment
  • Hand positioning and index alignment
  • Case, bezel, and crystal condition

Minor cosmetic variation within normal range is acceptable.

Obvious defects trigger rejection.

Rejection Criteria

Automatic QC Rejection Scenarios

A watch will be rejected if it shows:

  • Non-functioning movement or complications
  • Severe alignment issues affecting readability
  • Visible damage, cracks, or incorrect components
  • Mismatch with ordered model, version, or configuration

Rejected units are removed from the shipping queue.

Non-Rejection Scenarios

The following do not automatically trigger rejection:

  • Minor cosmetic variation within disclosed tolerance
  • Normal movement noise for the stated movement type
  • Visual differences already disclosed in product descriptions

These conditions are considered industry-normal.

QC Documentation & Customer Confirmation

Real QC Media Policy

Each order includes real QC photos or videos of the actual watch.

Stock images or renders are not used for QC confirmation.

QC media typically shows:

  • Front and back views
  • Dial and hand details
  • Basic functional operation

Customers review QC media before shipment confirmation.

Handling After QC Rejection

Internal Resolution Process

When a watch fails QC:

  • It is withheld from shipment
  • A replacement from the same version or batch is prepared
  • QC is repeated before offering confirmation

Only QC-approved units proceed to shipping.

Customer Impact

QC rejection does not affect order priority or pricing.

Customers are not charged additional fees due to QC rejection.

QC Limits & Expectations

QC is designed to reduce clear defects, not eliminate all variation.

All products are non-original timepieces with disclosed limitations.

QC does not imply:

  • Original manufacturer endorsement
  • Perfection beyond disclosed standards
  • Elimination of all aesthetic variance

Expectations should align with disclosed product descriptions.
